Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Humble Westfield Rd in Houston, TX on September 10th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 10:59 a.m. According to investigators, a Ford F-150 operated by 48-year-old Anthony Word was headed eastbound on Humble Westfield behind a Toyota Corolla operated by a 32-year-old Humble man. The Corolla was attempting a left turn when the Ford collided with the left side of the Toyota at the intersection with Carver Ave. The truck veered from the road in the collision and overturned onto its side, leaving Word with serious injuries. The Humble man was uninjured and officers expressed suspicion of possible alcohol involvement in the crash.
