Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a person at Joe Battle Blvd in El Paso, TX on July 27th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 1:13 p.m. A tractor-trailer operated by a 49-year-old Ysleta Sur man was reversing from a private drive, blocking a lane of travel. A Chevrolet Traverse operated by 41-year-old Araceli Gomez collided with the truck and suffered minor injuries. Police issued Gomez a No Driver License charge. The truck driver, who was not injured, was charged with Backing Vehicle Unsafely.
