What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a single vehicle crash that killed a person at US 60 near Hereford, TX on April 17th, 2022. They say the incident happened around 3 a.m. Preliminary investigation suggests a Dodge Ram operated by 47-year-old Araceli Gonzalez-DeSaldivar was headed westbound on US 60 when it veered from the road for unknown reason into a center median. While attempting to correct back onto the roadway, the vehicle lost control and overturned several times. Both Gonzalez-DeSaldivar and a passenger, 44-year-old Ysmael Dominguez-Vazquez, were ejected from the vehicle. Gonzalez-DeSaldivar suffered fatal injuries while Dominguez-Vazquez was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
