Police say the incident happened around 11:15 p.m. According to investigators, a Toyota Corolla is alleged to have run a red light before colliding with a southbound Nissan Altima. The driver of the Nissan, identified as 28-year-old Ariel Barnes, was seriously injured. A 7-year-old passenger had minor injuries, reports say, as did the other driver.
