Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured two people at State Hwy 75 in Leon County, TX on March 7th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 12:15 p.m. According to investigators, a Jeep Cherokee operated by 68-year-old Armando Diaz was headed southbound on Hwy 75, attempting a left turn onto a business lot. Investigators allege the vehicle failed to yield right-of-way to an oncoming commercial truck operated by a 45-year-old Tyler man, the two colliding in the process. While the Tyler man was allegedly uninjured, police say Diaz and a passenger, 61-year-old Laura Ledezma de Aguilara, were seriously injured in the collision.
