What Happened

Austin Police are investigating a crash that killed a woman at Research Blvd and Braker Ln in Austin, TX on May 28th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around midnight. Investigators say a vehicle accused of traveling on the wrong side of the road collided with a second vehicle with five occupants. A woman in the second vehicle, identified as 32-year-old Ashlee Marie Pegram, was fatally injured three children and an additional adult were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
