Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at FM 1488 in Conroe, TX on August 30th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 9:03 p.m. According to investigators, a commercial truck operated by a 60-year-old Houston man was headed eastbound before failing to control its speed and colliding with a disabled Hyundai Sonata operated by 27-year-old Ashley Burnett. Burnett suffered serious injuries. The other driver was not injured and charged with Failure to Control Speed.
