Area authorities have information on a crash at Hwy 99 in Montgomery County, TX on November 1st, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 2:13 a.m. According to investigators, a Ford Mustang operated by 19-year-old Ashton Moore was headed westbound before veering from its lane for unknown reasons. It crashed into a guardrail, ejecting Moore from the vehicle. Moore was unable to exit the roadway before an approaching FedEx truck is said to have struck Moore, causing fatal injuries. Police had not additional information to share.
