Texas of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a pedestrian at Broadway Blvd in Garland, TX on January 22nd, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 8:53 p.m. According to investigators, a Nissan Altima operated by a 29-year-old woman is said to have been headed southbound on Broadway Blvd before colliding with a pedestrian. It was alleged the vehicle did not stop to render aid to the pedestrian, identified as 58-year-old Atanacio Ponse. Ponse suffered fatal injuries in the crash. A Failure to Stop and Render Aid-Involving Death charge was recommended and/or issued.
