What Happened

Texas Department Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at  FM 130 in Cass County, TX on September 25th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 9:40 p.m. A Toyota 4Runner operated by 20-year-old Aubrey Nicole Clifton was reportedly traveling at a high rate of speed, allegedly according to a witness, when it veered from the road at a curve. After crossing back onto the road, it then travelled left of center up an embankment into a tree before overturning. Clifton, who investigators allege had been drinking, suffered serious injuries and was charged with Driving at Unsafe Speed.
