Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a person at State Hwy 35 in Alvin, TX on November 29th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 5:09 a.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Silverado operated by an unnamed 21-year-old Alvin man was headed northbound on State Hwy 35 approaching the intersection with Fairway Dr. A southeast bound Toyota Corolla operated by 19-year-old Audrey George was struck at the intersection by the Chevrolet, which ran a red light, leaving George with fatal injuries. A passenger in the Chevrolet, identified as 39-year-old Pedro Cisneros, was seriously injured. Officers recommenced the unnamed Alvin man be charged with Intoxication Manslaughter and Intoxication Assault.
