What Happened

Officials are investigating a crash that injured several people involved at Skillman St in Dallas, TX on January 31st, 2025. Police are saying the incident happened around 2:34 p.m. According to investigators, a Volvo XC60 headed southwest is alleged to have failed to control its speed before colliding with a Toyota 4Runner stopped for traffic. Reports indicate a chain-reaction crash occurred as a result, which also involved a Hyundai Elantra. Officials say the 36-year-old driver of the Volvo, Alexander Weatherbie, was seriously injured. The driver the Toyota, identified as 52-year-old Chasity Anderson, had non-life-threatening injuries, as did the driver of the Hyundai, identified as Ayodele Kolaru.
