The vehicle is alleged to have failed to yield before attempting to cross the eastbound lanes to perform a left westbound turn before colliding with an Acura MDX. The impact led to the Acura rolling onto its side in a median before catching fire. The driver, identified as 45-year-old Ayokunle Osagbami, had serious injuries, police say. The La Grange woman had less serious injuries, according to police. Sources indicate an Intoxication Assault charge was recommended and/or issued.
