While approaching the intersection with State Hwy 115, reports claim the patrol unit disregarded the posted stop sign before colliding with a GMC K1500 proceeding through the intersection. Authorities say a passenger in the GMC, identified as 61-year-old Barbara Martin, was seriously injured. The 64-year-old driver, who was not publicly identified, allegedly suffered less serious injuries.
