What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a person at US 82 and Rodgers Rd in Grayson County, TX on May 24th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 12 p.m. A tractor-trailer operated by a 52-year-old male reportedly failed to control its speed in stopped traffic and collided with the rear of a GMC Yukon. The Yukon was pushed from the road into a median before the tractor-trailer then also collided with the rear of a Chevrolet Silverado operated by 70-year-old Barbara Townsend. Townsend suffered minor injuries. No other injuries were reported.
