What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that killed a driver at Loop 1604 in Bexar County, TX on May 10th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 8:57 a.m. According to investigators, a GMC Acadia headed southbound is alleged to have crossed a yellow painted median before colliding with a northbound tractor-trailer. Authorities say the driver of the GMC, identified as 19-year-old Bartolo Cabrera, was fatally injured in the crash. The truck operator, who was not publicly identified, had alleged, minor injuries.
