Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a collision that injured a driver at TX 36 in Coryell County, TX on August 23rd, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 3 p.m. A commercial truck operated by a 46-year-old Canadian man was headed westbound on TX 36 when it attempted to reverse after the man witnessed a side door open on the truck. A Toyota Corolla operated by 22-year-old Baylor Glasscock collided with the truck, causing her serious injuries. The other driver was not injured and was cited for Backing Without Safety.
