What Happened

Authorities have information on a crash that killed a driver at FM 884 in Dewitt County, TX on October 12th, 2024. Police say the incident happend around 7 p.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Traverse is alleged to have veered from a northbound lane on FM 884, crossing into a northbound lane and colliding with a Dodge Durango. Reports indicate the driver of the Dodge, identified as 50-year-old Beatriz Aguilar Ramos, was seriously injured. Also seriously injured was a 56-year-old passenger in the Dodge while an additional 49-year-old passenger allegedly had minor injuries. Officials say the driver of the Traverse, identified as 38-year-old Juan Hernandez, was fatally injured.
