What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at I-35 in Bellmead, TX on July 3rd, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 4:15 p.m. A tractor-trailer operated by a 29-year-old Phoenix, AZ man reportedly failed to control its speed at traffic ahead slowed. The truck attempted to veer from the road to avoid a collision and struck the side of a Subaru Forester in the process. The Forester driver, 38-year-old Beck Munsey, suffered minor injuries. The Phoenix man was not injured.
