Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Wichita St in Forest Hill, TX on January 20th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 8:08 p.m. According to investigators, a Hyundai Elantra operated by an unnamed 37-year-old Fort Worth man was headed southbound on Wichita St. A Nissan Sentra was headed northbound on Wichita St when the Hyundai veered into oncoming traffic and collided with the Nissan. The driver of the Nissan, identified as 39-year-old Berkis De La Cruz, was seriously injured. The other driver was not injured and officers recommended and/or issued an intoxication assault charge.
