Police say the incident happened around 6:18 p.m. According to investigators, a Ford Expedition was westbound on the Westpark Two exit ramp before allegedly failing to stop for an approaching red light. The vehicle is said to have proceeding into the intersection where it collided with a northbound Toyota Rav4 operated by 66-year-old Betty Zuniga. Officials say Zuniga suffered serious injuries in the collision, as did the other driver, who was not publicly identified.
