What Happened

Authorities have information on a crash that killed one person involved at Killough St in Harris County, TX on December 21st, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 3 a.m. Investigators alleged a vehicle operated by Daniel Rodriguez Olivares was traveling at a high rate of speed at an embankment near an eastern bayou. For unconfirmed reasons, police say the vehicle veered into a pair of barricaded before traveling into a retaining ditch and striking a fence. From there, police say the vehicle overturned, striking additional fences. The crash is said to have left a passenger, Bianka Sandoval, fatally injured. Olivares was taken to an area hospital with serious injures. Reports indicate a charge of Intoxication Mansalguther was recommended and/or issued.
