Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Padre Island Dr in Corpus Christi, TX on May 5th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 9:58 a.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer operated by a 66-year-old Corpus Christi man was headed eastbound on South Padre Island Dr when it performed an unsafe right turn into a private drive. In the process, it collided with a BMW Z4 operated by 71-year-old Billie Dean Bogard. Bogard suffered minor injuries in the crash. The Corpus Christi man was not injured and charged with Changing Lanes When Unsafe.
