Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured at least two people at I-69 in Pharr County, TX on March 12th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 2:41 p.m. According to officials, a tractor-trailer operated by a 68-year-old Rio Hondo man was headed southbound on I-69C when it reportedly failed to control its speed and collided with the rear of a vehicle operated by a 32-year-old Edinburg man. This created a chain reaction crash involved two other vehicles, causing serious injuries to 28-year-old Blanca Esqueda Hernandez.. Several people were reportedly possibly injured, including 72-year-old Ignacio Olguin Diaz. Additional information was not immediately available.
