What Happened

Harris County Sheriff's Office authorities are investigating a crash that injured a person in Harris County, TX on June 24th, 2021. Police say the incident involved a vehicle operated by Devon Keith Stephen making an unsafe lane change and failed to control its speed, colliding with the rear of a vehicle operated by 50-year-old Jeffrey Craig Lemons. The vehicle overturned after striking an inside wall and coming to a stop. 61-year-old Blanca Angelica Garza, a passenger in Stephen's vehicle, suffered serious injuries. Lemons suffered minor injuries. Stephen, who was not injured, was charged with Failure to Stop and Render Aid and Driving While Intoxicated.
