Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured three people at Texoma Pkwy in Sherman, TX on December 27th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 5:44 p.m. According to investigators, a Honda Civic was allegedly proceeding into an intersection at a blinking yellow arrow before it was struck by an approaching Lincoln Navigator. Following the collision, the Lincoln is said to have crossed into a field while the Honda struck a fence. It was alleged by authorities the Honda failed to yield. Authorities also allege the driver, a 39-year-old woman who was not publicly identified, may have been under the influence of alcohol at the time. That driver, the Lincoln operator, identified as 58-year-old Bobbi Elvington, and a passenger in the Honda were all seriously injured, according to police. Sources show an Intoxication Assault charge was recommended and/or issued against the operator of the Honda. Additional information was not immediately available.
