Abilene Police are investigating a crash that killed a person at Grape St and North 15th St in Abilene, TX on May 26th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 5;30 a.m. According to investigators, a Ford Escape was headed northbound on Grape St when it struck the side of a westbound Pontiac Grand Prix. The driver of the Pontiac, 26-year-old Bobby Herrera, died at the scene. A 30-year-old female passenger was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. The Escape driver also suffered minor injuries. Additional information was not available.
