Texas Department of Public Safety officials have the name of the person killed in a crash at I-35 in Jarrell, TX on August 12th, 2021. They say the incident happened around 3 p.m. A Cadillac ATS operated by 42-year-old Bobby Shane Carr was headed southbound on I-35 when a commercial truck towing a trailer began turning left from Frontage Rd. Police allege that the ATS failed to control its speed and collided with the commercial vehicle, causing Carr to ultimately suffer fatal injuries. The other driver, a 48-year-old Georgetown man, was not injured. Additional information was not available.
