What Happened

Area authorities have information on a crash that injured a driver at Tristate Rd in Bowie County, TX on September 27th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 10:34 a.m. A Chevrolet Tahoe operated by 30-year-old Brad Lynn Johnson was reportedly headed southbound on Tristate Rd when it failed to yield half the roadway and collided with the front of a northbound tractor-trailer. Investigators say that Johnson, who was seriously injured in the crash, told them the steering in the Tahoe malfunctioned at the time of the collision. The other driver, a 61-year-old Doddridge, AR man, was not injured.
