What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that killed a motorcyclist at US 67 in Somervell County, TX on May 18th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 2:45 p.m. According to investigators, a pair of motorcycles were eastbound, traveling in a group with other motorcycles. Reports say one of the motorcycles began suffering from mechanical issues that caused the vehicle to experience a quick acceleration. The vehicle ended up colliding with a second motorcycle, which had been in the process of slowing down after its operator noticed the first motorcycle begin experiencing issues. Reports say the driver of the first motorcycle, identified as 54-year-old Bradley Sutton, was fatally injured. The other cyclist, identified as 53-year-old Milan George Sr, had injuries believed to be serious in nature. Additional information was not immediately available.
