Authorities are investigating a crash that killed one person at I-20 in Arlington, TX on February 3rd, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 2:30 p.m. According to investigators, a Honda HR-V was reportedly headed eastbound on I-20 before colliding with a guardrail under unclear circumstances. Reports say the impact was severe enough the guardrail struck the occupants of the vehicle. One, identified as 51-year-old front seat passenger, Brandi McDaniel, suffered fatal injuries. Also killed in the accident was a 17-year-old passenger. 58-year-old Mark McDaniel, identified as the driver, suffered injuries believed to be minor in nature, according to reports.
