Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Dallas North Tollway in Dallas, TX on August 30th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 11:41 p.m. A GMC Sierra operated by 40-year-old Brandon Christopher Briggs is said to have collided with a tow truck that was disabled in a lane a traffic. Police say the emergency lights on the truck were active at the time and that the Sierra failed to control its speed. Briggs suffered serious injuries and was charged with Failure to Control Speed. The other driver was not injured.
