What Happened

Area authorities are invesitting a crash that killed a motorcyclist at FM 1138 in Collin County, TX on May 12th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 6:39 p.m. According to investigators, a Suzuki motorcycle operated by 18-year-old Brandon Kidd was traveling southbound on FM 1138 prior to a Nissan Kicks operated by 32-year-old Jennifer Seahorn allegedly failing to yield to traffic. Police say the vehicle was turning westbound on County Road 541 when it was struck by the motorcycle. Kidd suffered fatal injuries in the incident. There were no other reported injuries, according to police and additional information is not currently available.
