What Happened

An officer was killed while in the line of duty at State Hwy 161 in Grand Prairie, TX on November 14th, 2022. Police say 33-year-old Officer Brandon Tsai was operating a police cruiser while pursuing a suspect vehicle. While in pursuit, the police cruiser is said to have struck a second police cruiser during a turn, causing it to rotate into a traffic signal light. Officers say it is possible that the vehicle may have suffered some sort of mechanical issue that could have played a role in the crash. Officers Tsai suffered fatal injuries in the crash.
