Authorities are investigating a crash that killed a driver at Krchnak Rd in Bastrop County, TX on August 16th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 6:03 p.m. According to investigators, a Subaru Forester was northbound on Krchnak Rd before making contact with a heavy machinery style vehicle exiting a private drive. Reports claim the truck failed to yield and was extended into the path of the approaching Subaru before the collision. The impact is said to have pushed the Subaru from the road, where it traveled through a fence and collided with a tree. Reports say the driver the Subaru, identified as 30-year-old Bre-Ann Johnson, was fatally injured.
