Authorities are investigating a crash that killed a pedestrian at Pine St in Abilene, TX on February 16th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 9:40 p.m. According to investigators, a vehicle on Pine Street is accused of striking a pedestrian who was in or near the road at the time. Following the collision, officials say the vehicle fled the scene. The pedestrian, identified as 58-year-old Brenda Ann Janiszewski Jodoin, was killed in the collision. Officials later located and arrested a suspect, identified as 28-year-old Gabriella Lujan. Reports indicate Lujan was arrested on Accident Involving Death and Failure to Stop and Render Aid charges.
