Police have inforamtion on a crash that injured a driver at State Hwy 243 in Van Zandt County, TX on October 17th, 2024. Police are saying the incident happend around 7:54 p.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer headed eastbound on State Hwy 243 is alleged to have failed to yield right of way before turning left ahead of an approaching westbond Nissan Rogue. Authorities say the vehicles collided, the impact leaving 50-year-old Nissan operator, Brenda Clark, seriously injured. Reprots say an 8-year-old passenger in the Nissan had less serious injuries, as did the 59-year-old driver of the tractor-trailer. Additional information was not immediately available.
