Texas Department of Public Safety officials have information on a crash that injured a driver at TX 35 in Alvin, TX on November 20th, 2021. Police say 26-year-old Brenda Garcia was behind the wheel of a Toyota 4Runner stopped at a red light on FM 528 around 8:22 p.m. They say a Jeep Wrangler, operated by 29-year-old Garrett Glenn Middleton, collided with the rear of the 4Runner, causing Garcia serious injuries. Middleton suffered undisclosed injuries and officers recommended and/or issued a Driving While Intoxicated charge.
