What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured two people at FM 1725 in San Jacinto County, TX on March 24th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 10:53 p.m. According to their investigation, a Chevrolet Silverado operated by a 40-year-old Cleveland, TX woman was reportedly headed southbound on FM 1725. A Nissan Altima operated by 23-year-old Brendan De Rouen was said to have been headed  northbound on FM 1725. Investigators believe the Silverado failed to remain in its lane and traveled through the southbound shoulder, went into a skid and veered into the northbound lane where it collided with the Altima, pushing it to the shoulder. De Rouen is said to have been seriously injured while the Cleveland woman suffered minor injuries.
