What Happened

Harris County Sheriff's Office authorities are investigating a collision that killed a pedestrian at Katy Freeway Service Rd in Harris County, TX on July 24th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 12:35 a.m. According to investigators, two vehicles, including a Ford Edge, were involved in a collision. After the collision, the suspect vehicle veered from the road into a nearby pedestrian near an embankment. The pedestrian, Brian King, suffered fatal injuries. Police allege the driver of the first vehicle is alleged to have been under the influence of alcohol at the time of the collision.
