What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed two people at TX 71 in Llano County, TX on September 12th, 2021. Police say the incident happened when a Ford F-150 headed westbound on TX 71 veered from the road for undetermined reasons, overturning into a creek-bed. The two occupants of the truck, 22-year-old Brian Rivera-Sanchez and 22-year-old Oscar Martinez, both died at the scene. Police responded to the scene around noon but say the crash may have occurred late Friday night or in the early morning hours of Saturday.  Additional information was not immediately available.
