State Police have information on a crash that injured a driver at I-35 in Bell County, TX on August 22nd, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 5:35 p.m. According to investigators, a commercial tractor-trailer operated by a 40-year-old male was headed southbound on I-35 before it was struck by a tractor-trailer operated by 59-year-old Brian Scott Austin. Police say witnesses stated the first truck did not have active tail lamps at the time of the collision, which left Austin with serious injuries. Officers recommended and/or issued a Defective Tail Lamp charge/citation.
