What Happened

Authorities have information on a collision that killed a motorcyclist at US 281 in Blanco County, TX on June 15th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 11:08 p.m. Investigators say a tractor-trailer merging northbound allegedly failed to yield right of way at a stop intersection, colliding with a motorcycle. The impact is said to have ejected 67-year-old motorcyclist, Bruce Hedtke, from the vehicle, leaving him fatally injured.  Authorities did not have any additional information available.
