What Happened

San Antonio Police are investigating a crash that killed a man at I-35 at Southcross in San Antonio, TX on September 25th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 2:23 a.m. A vehicle operated by 28-year-old Bruce Jimenez is said to have been attempting to pass southbound traffic when it veered from from the main travel lanes across an access road. The vehicle struck a tree and large sign in a parking lot, trapping him inside the vehicle. Paramedics pronounced Jimenez dead at the scene while a female passenger was treated for minor injuries.
