Police say the incident happened around 4:06 p.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Trailblazer  was southwest on Mumford Rd, approaching a curve in the roadway. Reports indicate the truck veered from the road while navigating the curve, traveling into a northbound ditch. While attempting to correct back onto the roadway, police say the vehicle went into a spin, traveling into a southbound ditch and striking an electrical pole. The collision is said to have caused the 19-year-old driver to be ejected from the vehicle, causing serious injuries, according to police. Additional information was not available.
