Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a person at Texas Blvd in Weslaco, TX on October 24th, 2022. Police say it happened around 2:27 a.m. Investigators believe a Chevrolet Silverado towing a trailer and operated by a 61-year-old Krugerville, TX man was headed southbound on Texas Blvd before veering from its lane and colliding head-on with a Kia Rio stopped at a red light. The driver of the Kia, identified as 39-year-old Bryan McBride, was seriously injured in the crash after the vehicle overturned in the collision. The Krugerville man was uninjured and officers recommended and/or issued Intoxication Assault, Driving While Intoxicated and Accident Involving Damage charges.
