What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured two people at FM 2222 Rd in Austin, TX on August 11th, 2023.  Police say the incident happened around 9:17 p.m. According to investigators, a Toyota Corolla operated by 53-year-old Robert Majeed was in a left turn lane preparing to turn left into an apartment complex. Police say as the vehicle turned, it collided with an eastbound Mini Cooper operated by 24-year-old Bryce Hunter. Investigators allege one of the vehicles may have failed to yield to the other before the collision. Officials say Hunter had non-life-threatening injuries while Majeed suffered more serious injuries. Additional information was not immediately available.
