Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a driver at I-45 in Huntsville, TX on November 23rd, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 3:48 a.m. According to investigators, a GMC Terrain, operated by 46-year-old Calesha Pouncy, was headed northbound on I-45 at the time, For reasons that were not confirmed, reports say the vehicle left the roadway and lost control while attempting to return to the road. Officials say the vehicle went into a skid, striking a nearby embankment and traveling airborne. Upon landing, the vehicle is said to have made contact with a tree and overturned.
