What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials identified the person killed in a crash at FM 2957 near Hallsburg, TX on May 11th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 7 p.m. They say a Chevrolet pickup truck operated by 20-year-old Cameron Rush was headed westbound when it reportedly lost control at a curve in the road. The vehicle then veered from the road and overturned, ejecting Rush from the vehicle. Rush suffered fatal injuries at the scene as a result. Additional details were not available.
