What Happened

Dallas Police identified the person killed in a crash at Simpson Stuart and Bonnie View in Dallas, TX on June 22nd, 2024. Authorities identified 18-year-old Cameron Summers-Horton as the victim int he two-vehicle collision. Reports allege a vehicle operated by 28-year-old Jacob Arredondo was allegedly fleeing the scene of a previous collision before running a red light at the intersection. There, reports say the vehicle struck one operated by Summers-Horton as it was making a turn. The collision left Summers-Horton seriously injured. Reports say he was taken to an area hospital where he later died. Source allege Arredondo was arrested on a charge of Intoxication Manslaughter. Additional information was not available.
